Description
Annexin A8-like 2, also known as ANXA8L2, is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipid binding proteins. Annexin family members have been implicated as regulators of such diverse processes as ion flux, endocytosis and exocytosis, and cellular adhesion. ANXA8L2 is a membrane binding protein with diverse properties, including voltage-sensitive calcium channel activity, ion selectivity and membrane fusion. Overexpression of ANXA8L2 has been associated with acute myelocytic leukemia. Recombinant human ANXA8L2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Annexin A8-like protein 1, ANXA8L2, Annexin A8-like protein 2, bA145E20.2Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.1M NaCl, 10% glycerol,1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
