Description
The APOBEC4 is a member of the AID/APOBEC family of polynucleotide (deoxy) cytidine deaminases, which convert cytidine to uridine. Other AID/APOBEC family members are involved in Mrna editing, somatic hypermutation and recombination of immunoglobulin genes, and innate immunity to retroviral infection. Recombinant human APOBEC4 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
putative C->u-editing enzyme APOBEC-4, C1orf169Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerol 0.4M ureaStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
