ARF3, also known as ADP-ribosylation factor 3, functions as an allosteric activator of the cholera toxin catalytic subunit, an ADP-ribosyltransferase. This protein involved in protein trafficking; may modulate vesicle budding and uncoating within the Golgi apparatus.
