Description
BLNK, also known as B-cell linker, is essential for normal B-cell development. This protein has been shown to associate with the effector proteins GRB2, Vav, NCK and PLC gamma following activation of the B cell receptor. It is phosphorylated by the Syk tyrosine kinase, which in turn permits activation of downstream effector proteins including GRB2 and PLC gamma. Recombinant human BLNK protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
