Description
Calcium binding protein 39, also known as CAB39, is a 40-kDa protein that, together with the STE20-related adaptor-alpha (STRAD alpha) pseudo kinase, forms a regulatory complex capable of stimulating the activity of the LKB1 tumor suppressor protein kinase. Also CAB39 may function as a scaffolding component of the STK11/STRAD complex and regulates STK11 activity and cellular localization. Recombinant human CAB39, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniquesAlternative Names
