Description
CARD17 is a regulator of procaspase-1/CASP1 activation implicated in the regulation of the proteolytic maturation of pro-IL-1beta/IL1B and its release during inflammation. This protein inhibits the release of IL1B in response to LPS in monocytes. However, unlike CASP1, CARD17 do not induce NF-kappa-B activation. Recombinant human CARD17 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Caspase recruitment domain-containing protein 17, Caspase recruitment domain family, member 17, INCAConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.15M NaCl, 20% glycerol, 1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
