Description
CD14 is a surface antigen that is preferentially expressed on monocytes/macrophages. It cooperates with other proteins to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein. Recombinant human CD14 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Monocyte differentiation antigen CD14, Myeloid cell-specific leucine-rich glycoprotein, CD14 moleculeConcentration
0.5mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 30% glycerol 0.15M NaCl, 1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
