Description
KLRB1, also known as killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily B member 1, is classified as a type II membrane protein because it has an external C terminus. It is expressed by NK cells and may be involved in the regulation of NK cell function. It plays a novel and important role in B cell maturation within the GC in humans. It is expressed by lymphocytes found in human gut and liver, as well as blood, especially natural killer (NK) cells, T helper 17 (Th17) cells, and a population of unconventional T cells known as mucosal-associated invariant T (MAIT) cells. It is also expressed, at intermediate levels, on a prominent subset of polyclonal CD8+ T cells, including antiviral populations that display a memory phenotype. Recombinant human KLRB1, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Killer cell lectin like receptor B1, Killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily B member 1, C-type lectin domain family 5 member B, HNKR-P1a, NKR-P1A, Natural killer cell surface protein P1A, CD161, CLEC5B, NKRP1A, NKR-P1Concentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by absorbance at 280nm)Concentration
Liquid in. Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) containing 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
