Description
CD200R1, also known as cell surface glycoprotein CD200 receptor 1 isoform d, is a transmembrane protein in the immunoglobulin superfamily. This glycoprotein contains on C2 type Ig-like domain and V type Ig-like domain within its extracellular domain and a PTB-signaling motif in cytoplasmic domain. Also, it is expressed on myeloid cells and CD4+ T cells. For function, this receptor is restricted to the surfaces of myeloid lineage cells and the receptor-substrate interaction may function as a myeloid down regulatory signal. Activation of CD200R1 regulates the expression of inflammatory molecules such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF-alpha), interferon and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS). Recombinant human CD200R1, fused to hIgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
