Description
CD79B, also known as Igb and B29, is a 36 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein in the immunoglobulin superfamily. Heterodimers of CD79A and CD79B associate with a membrane bound immunoglobulin on the B cell surface to form the B cell antigen receptor complex (BCR). CD79A and CD79B are required for BCR-mediated signaling and consequently for the development and activation of B lineage cells. Recombinant human CD79B protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
CD79b molecule immunoglobulin-associated beta, CD79b molecule, immunoglobulin-associated beta, AGM6, B29, IGBConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 2M uREA, 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
