Description
CIB2 belongs to calcium and integrin-binding family. CIB2 may be a Ca2+-binding regulatory protein that interacts with DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit (DNA-PKcs). In skeletal muscle, CIB2 colocalizes with the integrin alpha7B subunit at the sarcolemma and at the neuromuscular and myotendinous junctions. CIB2 is closely related to CIB1. Recombinant human CIB2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
