Description
DCN also known as Decorin isoform a. DCN is a ubiquitous proteoglycan comprised of a core protein attached to a single dermatan/chondroitin sulphate glycosaminoglycan chain. It may play a role in regulation of collagen fibrillogenesis and function as a reservoir of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta) in the extracellular milieu. Recombinant human DCN, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
Decorin isoform a, Decorin isoform a, CSCD, DSPG2, PG40, PGII, PGS2, SLRR1BConcentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
