Description
DHODH, also known as dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (quinone), mitochondrial, belongs to the dihydroorotate dehydrogenase family. DHODH catalyzes the fourth enzymatic step, the ubiquinone-mediated oxidation of dihydroorotate to orotate, in de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis. This protein is a mitochondrial protein located on the outer surface of the inner mitochondrial membrane. Recombinant human DHODH protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
