Description
DNAJB8, also known as dnaJ homolog subfamily B member 8, is superior suppressors of aggregation and toxicity of disease-associated polyglutamine proteins. DNAJB8 is (de) acetylated at two conserved C-terminal lysines that are not involved in substrate binding, but do play a role in suppressing protein aggregation. Recombinant human DNAJB8 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 8Concentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 40% glycerol, 0.15M NaCl, 1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
