Description
EIF1, also known as eukaryotic translation initiation factor 1, is a universally conserved translation factor that is necessary for scanning and involved in initiation site selection. This protein promotes the assembly of 48S ribosomal complexes at the authentic initiation codon of a conventional capped mRNA. Recombinant human EIF1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Sui1iso1, SuI1, Protein translation factor SUI1 homolog, ISO1, Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 1, EIF1A, EIF-1, EIF1, A121Concentration
0.5mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 1mM DTT, 0.1 M NaCl, and 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
