Description
FADD (Fas-associated protein with death domain) is an adaptor molecule that interacts with various cell surface receptors and mediates cell apoptotic signals. This protein is implicated in survival/proliferation and cell cycle progression. FADD functions are also regulated via cellular sublocalization, protein phosphorylation, and inhibitory molecules. Recombinant human FADD, fused to GST-tag, was expressed in E. coli and purified by conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
