Description
Fas ligand, also known as FASLG, belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family and is the ligand for FAS. Both are transmembrane proteins. Interaction of FAS with this ligand is critical in triggering apoptosis of some types of cells such as lymphocytes. Defects in FASLG may be related to some cases of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Recombinant human FASLG protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
Fas antigen ligand (Fas ligand; FasL), Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 6 (TNFSF6), Apoptosis antigen ligand (APTL), CD95 ligand (CD95L), ADAM10-processed FasL form (APL), CD178, APT1LG1Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.4M urea, 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
