Description
SPINT2 is a transmembrane protein with two extracellular Kunitz domains that inhibits a variety of serine proteases. The protein inhibits HGF activator which prevents the formation of active hepatocyte growth factor. This protein is a putative tumor suppressor, and mutations in this protein result in congenital sodium diarrhea. Recombinant human SPINT2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
Kunitz-type protease inhibitor 2, DIAR3, FLJ45571, HAI-2, HAI2, Kop, PBConcentration
0.5mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.4M urea 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
