Description
MAPK8 also known as mitogen-activated protein kinase 8 JNK beta 2. MAPK8 is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. This is activated by various cell stimuli, and targets specific transcription factors, and thus mediates immediate-early gene expression in response to cell stimuli. Recombinant human MAPK8, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Mitogen-activated protein kinase 8 JNK beta 2, JNK, JNK-46, JNK1, JNK1A2, JNK21B1/2, PRKM8, SAPK1, SAPK1cConcentration
0.5mg/ml (determined by absorbance at 280nm)Concentration
Liquid in. Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) containing 20% glycerol, 1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
