Description
MAGOHB is involved in mRNA splicing and in the nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) pathway. Also, it is interacts with RBM8A and is part of the exon junction complex (EJC) containing NCBP1, NCBP2, RNPS1, RBM8A, SRRM1, NXF1, uPF3B, uPF2 and ALYREF/THOC4. Recombinant human MAGOHB protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
