Description
Protein MIS12 homolog, also known as MIS12, is a component of the MIS12 complex, which is required for kinetochore formation during mitosis and normal chromosome alignment and segregation. The MIS12 complex consists of MIS12, DSN1, NSL1 and PMF-1. MIS12 is part of a network of complexes that provide microtubule attachment and generates pulling forces from depolymerization. Recombinant human MIS12 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
Protein MIS12 homolog, hMis12, KNTC2AP, MTW1Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 2M urea, 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
