Description
NDuFA2 is a subunit of the hydrophobic protein fraction of the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex 1), the first enzyme complex in the electron transport chain located in the inner mitochondrial membrane, and may be involved in regulating complex I activity or its assembly via assistance in redox. Mutations in this protein are associated with Leigh syndrome, an early-onset progressive neurodegenerative disorder. Recombinant human NDuFA2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 2, Complex I-B8, CI-B8, NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase B8 subunit, NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit A2Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.15M NaCl, 10% glycerol,1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
