Description
NDuFV3 is one of at least forty-one subunits that make up the NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex. This complex is part of the mitochondrial respiratory chain and serves to catalyze the rotenone-sensitive oxidation of NADH and the reduction of ubiquinone. The protein is one of three proteins found in the flavoprotein fraction of the complex. The specific function of the encoded protein is unknown. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Recombinant human NDuFV3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit V3, NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] flavoprotein 3 mitochondrial, Complex I-9kD, CI-9kD, complex I 10kDa subunit, CI-10k, NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase 9 kDa subunit, Renal carcinoma antigen NY-REN-4Concentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.2M NaCl, 50% glycerol, 2mM DTT, 2mM EDTAStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
