Description
The DJ-1 is a ubiquitously expressed protein involved in various cellular processes including spermatogenesis and fertilization, cancer, RNA-binding, androgen-receptor signaling and oxidative stress. Mutations in the DJ-1 are the cause of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson's disease 7 (Park7). Recombinant human DJ-1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Parkinson disease protein 7, Parkinsonism associated deglycase, parkinson protein 7, Parkinson disease autosomal recessive early onset 7, Maillard deglycase, Oncogene DJ1, Protein DJ-1, DJ-1, DJ1, GATD2, Protein/nucleic acid deglycase DJ-1Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 20% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
