Description
Members of the subtilisin-like proprotein convertase family process latent precursor proteins into their biologically active products. PCSK1N functions as an inhibitor of prohormone convertase 1, which regulates the proteolytic cleavage of neuroendocrine peptide precursors. Recombinant human PCSK1N protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
ProSAAS precursor, ProSAAS precursor, Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1 inhibitor, PROSAAS; SAASConcentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing , 10% glycerol, 0.4M ureaStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
