Description
PEX19, also known as Peroxin 19, localizes to the outer surface of peroxisomes in liver cells. It is essential for peroxisome biogenesis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is apparently involved in the initial stage of peroxisome membrane assembly, before the import of matrix protein. Recombinant human PEX19 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
Peroxisomal biogenesis factor 19, D1S2223E, HK33, PMP1, PMPI, PXF, PXMP1Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
