Description
PRND is a membrane glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored glycoprotein that is found predominantly in testis. This protein is expressed during embryogenesis, but is expressed minimally in the central nervous system. Its function is still unknown. Mutations in PRND may lead to neurological disorders. Recombinant human PRND protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Prion-like protein doppel, Prion protein 2, DOPPEL, DPL, PrPLPConcentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.5) containing 0.2M NaCl, 30% glycerol, 1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
