Description
PRPS2 also known as ribose-phosphate pyrophosphokinase 2 isoform 1. The Protein belongs to the ribose-phosphate pyrophosphokinase family. The Protein catalyzes the synthesis of 5-phosphoribosyl 1-pyrophosphate from ATP and D-ribose 5-phosphate. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Recombinant human PRPS2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Ribose-phosphate pyrophosphokinase 2 isoform 1, PRSIIConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by absorbance at 280nm)Concentration
Liquid in. Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) containing 10% glycerol, 1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
