Description
PSMA1 is a prosomal protein involved in a nonlysosomal ATP/ubiquitin-dependent proteolytic pathway. The protein is a multicatalytic proteinase complex which is characterized by its ability to cleave peptides with Arg, Phe, Tyr, Leu, and Glu adjacent to the leaving group at neutral or slightly basic pH. This protein highly expressed in prostate epithelium. Recombinant human PSMA1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Proteasome subunit alpha type-1 isoform 2, HC2, Nu, PROS30Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerol, 2mM DTT, 0.15M NaCl.Storage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
