Description
Succinate dehydrogenase assembly factor 1, also known as SDHAF1, plays an essential role in succinate dehydrogenase complex (SDH) assembly, a complex involved in complex II of the mitochondrial electron transport chain. Probably this protein acts by participating in mitochondrial biosynthesis of iron-sulfur centers for complex II. Recombinant human SDHAF1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
