Description
SHC1 (SHC-transforming protein 1) belongs to the SH2 domain family. SHC1 has been found to be important in the regulation of apoptosis and drug resistance in mammalian cells. It is a signaling adapter that couples activated growth factor receptors to signaling pathway. SHC1 expressed in neural stem cells but absent in mature neurons. Recombinant human SHC1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
