Description
SuLT1C2, also known as Sulfotransferase 1C2, is a sulfotransferase1 superfamily. It catalyzes the transfer of sulfate from PAPS (3'-phosphoadenosine-5'-phosphosulfate) to phenol-containing compounds, including hormones and neurotransmitters. Two isoforms of SuLT1C2 designated short and long, exist as a result of alternative splicing events. Recombinant human SuLT1C2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
