Description
Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities. Estrogen sulfotransferase may control the level of the estrogen receptor by sulfurylating free estradiol. Recombinant SuLT1E1, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and was purified by conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
Sulfotransferase family 1E member 1, ST1E1, EST-1, Estrogen sulfotransferase, Sulfotransferase estrogen-preferring, STE, ESTConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 20% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
