Description
PLAT, also known as tissue-type plasminogen activator isoform 1, is a protein involved in the breakdown of blood clots. This protein is secreted as a single chain polypeptide precursor which is cleaved in turn by plasmin. Also, active PLAT converts plasminogen to plasmin, a fibrinolytic protease, by hydrolyzing an Arg-Val peptide bond in plasminogen. Recombinant human PLAT protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Tissue-type plasminogen activator isoform 1, PLAT, T-PA, TPAConcentration
0.25mg/ml (determined by absorbance at 280nm)Concentration
Liquid in. 50mM MES buffer (pH 5.5) containing 10% glycerol, 100mM NaCl, 5mM CaCl2.Storage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
