Description
TCTP, also known as Translationally controlled tumor protein, is regulated at the translational level. This protein is involved in calcium binding and microtubule stabilization. It is an immunoglobulin E dependent histamine-releasing factor produced by lymphocytes of atopic children and present in biologic fluids of allergic patients. Recombinant TCTP protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
TPT1, HRF, p02, Fortilin, Histamine releasing factor, P23, Tumor protein translationally controlled 1.Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerol 0.1M NaClStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
