Description
TREX2 is an enzyme containing 3-prime-to-5-prime exonuclease activity and removes mismatched, modified, fragmented, and normal nucleotides to generate the appropriate 3-prime termini for subsequent steps in the DNA metabolic pathways. This enzyme is involved in DNA replication, repair, and recombination. Recombinant human TREX2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Three prime repair exonuclease 2Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.2M NaCl, 5mM DTT, 30% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
