Description
uBE2J2, also known as ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 J2, belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. This gene encodes a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This enzyme is located in the membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum. Recombinant human uBE2J2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
Uubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 J2 isoform 2, Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2, J2, UBC6 homolog, yeast, Ubc6p, UBC6, NCUBE2, E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme J2, Non-canonical ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme 2Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 30% glycerol, 1mM DTT, 200mM NaClStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
