Description
ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase isozyme L3, also known as uCHL3, is a member of a gene family whose products hydrolyze small C-terminal adducts of ubiquitin to generate the ubiquitin monomer. uCHL3 play a role in the regulation of neuronal development and spermatogenesis and have been implicated in neurodegenerative diseases. uCHL3 protein is 54% identical to that of uCHL1. Recombinant human uCHL3 protprot, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
