Description
uFC1 is an E2-like conjugating enzyme for ubiquitin-fold modifier-1. uFM1 is activated by a novel E1-like enzyme, uBA5, by forming a high-energy thioester bond. Activated uFM1 is then transferred to its cognate E2-like enzyme, uFC1, in a similar thioester linkage. Recombinant human uFC1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
ubiquitin-fold modifier-conjugating enzyme 1, HSPC155Concentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 20% glycerol, 0.1M NaCl,1mM DTTStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
