Description
VPS26A, also known as vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 26A, is essential component of the retromer complex, a complex required to retrieve lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Also this protein is required to regulate transcytosis of the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR-pIgA). Recombinant human VPS26A protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.Alternative Names
