Description
XRCC3, also known as RAD51-like, belongs to the RecA family and RAD51 subfamily. It participates in homologous recombination to maintain chromosome stability and repair DNA damage. This protein functionally complements Chinese hamster irs1SF, a repair-deficient mutant that exhibits hypersensitivity to a number of different DNA-damaging agents and is chromosomally unstable. Recombinant human XRCC3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli.Alternative Names
X-ray repair cross complementing protein 3, RAD51-likeConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by Bradford assay)Concentration
Liquid in. 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerol 0.4M ureaStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
