RANK, as known as Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 11A (TNFRSF11A) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) molecular sub-family. It is the receptor for RANK-Ligand (RANKL) and part of the RANK/RANKL/OPG signaling pathway that regulates osteoclast differentiation and activation. It is associated with bone remodeling and repair, activation of NF-kappa B and c-jun N-terminal kinase, enhancement of T cell growth and dendritic cell function, immune cell function, lymph node development, thermal regulation, and mammary gland development. It is able to block TRANCE induced biological activity. Recombinant mouse RANK, fused to hlgG-His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.Alternative Names
