RELM-alpha (clone MREL 384), anti-mouse

Decription:
RELM-alpha is a member to the family of adipocyte-secreted proteins called adipocytokines. It is abundantly expressed in white adipose tissue but not in preadipocytes, nor 3T3-L1 adipocytes. RELM-alpha is involved in the regulation of colonic inflammation and might be a link between colonic injury, glucose tolerance, and energy intake.

Immunogen: Recombinant mouse RELM-alpha.

Reactivity: mouse

Specificity: Recognizes mouse RELM-alpha. Detects a band of ~10kDa by Western blot.

Form: Purified, in 0.2um-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives.

Applications:
ELISA: (direct or indirect: 1:5'000-1:10'000)
Western blot: (1:5'000-1:10'000 using ECL. Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is TBST with 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk. Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at rooom temperature).

Working Dilution: Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application.

Concentration: 0.2 mg/ml
