Protein Family: Enzymes, Protein Kinases, Receptors and Channels
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Development and Behavior, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Alternate Names: Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase receptor ret; C-ret; RET
Accession No.: P07949, NP_066124
Description:
Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase receptor ret (C-ret) is a tyrosine kinase receptor for DOK2, 4 and 5 important in development. Defects in C-ret are a cause of pheochromocytoma, thyroid carcinoma, neoplasia and neural crest development disorders.
Format:
Each vial contains 0.1 mg of lyophilized peptide. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml deionized water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Use at 5.6 ug/ml for a 100X excess over antibody for maximum blocking effect.
MW: 1972 g/mol
Sequence:
The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 200171 is selected from a sequence within the C-term region of human RET. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.
Composition:
C81H122N26O30S1
Purity:
> 80% by HPLC
Solubility:
Distilled water for a solution up to 2 mg/ml, otherwise we recommend using acetonitrile.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. The product is hygroscopic and must be protected from light. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment. Following reconstitution, store at -20°C.
