The RGES Peptide is a RGD-related peptide. This peptide is a control for the RGDS ihibitory activity on fibrinogen binding to activated platelets. The conversion of the aspartic acid to glutamic acid in the RGDS peptide sequence changes its properties to inhibit integrins and ECM proteins.
