Background:
This gene encodes one of two non-identical subunits thatconstitute ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase, an enzymeessential for the production of deoxyribonucleotides prior to DNAsynthesis in S phase of dividing cells. It is one of several geneslocated in the imprinted gene domain of 11p15.5, an importanttumor-suppressor gene region. Alterations in this region have beenassociated with the Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Wilms tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, adrenocrotical carcinoma, and lung, ovarian, andbreast cancer. This gene may play a role in malignancies anddisease that involve this region.

Other Names:
Ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase large subunit, Ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase subunit M1, Ribonucleotide reductase large subunit, RRM1, RR1

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence is selected from aa 86-100 of HUMAN RRM1

Gene Name: RRM1

Gene ID: 6240
Primary Accession: P23921
Other Accession: P07742; NP_001024.1
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
