Background:
Complex II of the respiratory chain, which isspecifically involved in the oxidation of succinate, carrieselectrons from FADH to CoQ. The complex is composed of fournuclear-encoded subunits and is localized in the mitochondrialinner membrane. The subunit D protein is one of two integralmembrane proteins anchoring the complex to the matrix side of themembrane. Mutations in SDHD have been linked to hereditaryparaganglioma.
Other Names:
Succinate dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] cytochrome b small subunit, mitochondrial, CybS, CII-4, QPs3, Succinate dehydrogenase complex subunit D, Succinate-ubiquinone oxidoreductase cytochrome b small subunit, Succinate-ubiquinone reductase membrane anchor subunit, SDHD, SDH4
Gene Name: SDHD
Gene ID: 6392
Primary Accession: O14521
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
