Serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) detection kit

Use: Used to detect the concentration of serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) in samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant.Specificity: The kit uses enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Biotin-labeled serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) and purified anti-serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) antibodies are coated on microtiter plates. In the competitive inhibition reaction, a certain amount of solid-phase antibody and biotin-labeled serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) and non-labeled antigen (calibrator or specimen) are inhibited by the amount of non-labeled antigen. The more non-labeled antigen, the less the antibody binds to biotin-labeled serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT), and vice versa. After the reaction is balanced, solid-phase antibody-biotinylated serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) is formed, and then enzyme-labeled avidin is added to form a solid-phase antibody-biotinylated serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT)-enzyme label-avidin complex. After adding substrate for color development, the absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm using an enzyme marker. As the concentration of serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) increases, the OD value gradually decreases and shows a good linear relationship. This kit has the characteristics of high sensitivity, strong specificity, good repeatability, simple operation, and rapidity. It has reliable detection performance for the reduction or increase of serotonin/5-hydroxytryptamine (ST/5-HT) in the sample.
