Background:
Proton-linked monocarboxylate transporter. May catalyze the transport of monocarboxylates across the plasma membrane (Probable). Probably involved in hepatic lipid metabolism: overexpression results in an increase of triacylglycerol(TAG) levels, small increases in intracellular diacylglycerols and decreases in lysophosphatidylcholine, cholesterol ester and sphingomyelin lipids.
Alternative Name:
MCT11, Monocarboxylate transporter 11, Solute carrier family 16 member 11, MCT 11
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
Specificity: SLC16A11 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of SLC16A11 protein.
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide of human SLC16A11.
MW: ~ 48 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q8NCK7
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
