Background:
Zinc-efflux transporter which allocates the cytoplasmic zinc to the trans-Golgi network (TGN) as well as the vesicular compartment. Seems to have lost most of the histidine residues in the loop between the fourth and fifth transmembrane regions and appears to exert transport function by forming complexes with ZNT5.
Alternative Name:
MST103,MSTP103,ZNT6
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
Specificity: SLC30A6 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of SLC30A6 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant protein of human SLC30A6
MW: ~ 50 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q6NXT4
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
